Aquamarines are apart of the Beryl family and is coloured by iron. The colour’s can range between a blue, green-blue and a light green.

The preferable colour of the Aquamarine is blue, some of the stones in the

market have been heat treated to rid of yellowish, greenish blue tinge and the

result is a blue colour, which is stable.
